The Cadillac Escalade EXT returns for 2007 as an all-new model. Available in a single trim, the EXT has been upgraded with a new chassis, powertrain, safety system, and interior. The exterior as well as the interior have been completely redesigned. The new powertrain consist of an all-aluminum 6.2L V8 engine with VVT mated to a six-speed automatic transmission with Drive Shift Control. The 6.2L V8 engine generates 403 hp and 417 lb-ft of torque. New standard features include remote starting, side-curtain air bags and a Bose 5.1 Surround audio system. Other standard features include an AWD drivetrain, all speed traction control, StabiliTrak vehicle stability enhancement system with new rollover mitigation technology, and rear park assist.
