The Toyota 4Runner returns for 2007 available in three trims: SR5, Sport, and Limited in either 2WD or 4WD configurations. Engine choices on all models include a 236 horsepower 4.0L V6 engine and a 4.7L V8 engine that produces 260 horsepower and 306 lb-ft of torque. All engines are mated to an electronically controlled five-speed automatic transmission. The Optional Sport Package adds two-tone seat fabric, 17-inch alloy wheels, larger brakes, heated outside mirrors, and unique interior trim. Other available options include third row seating, a roof rack, a six-disc CD changer, side curtain and side impact airbags, and a navigation system.

Consequence A STUCK OPEN ACCELERATOR PEDAL MAY RESULT IN VERY HIGH VEHICLE SPEEDS AND MAKE IT DIFFICULT TO STOP THE VEHICLE, WHICH COULD CAUSE A CRASH, SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH.
