The Acadia is powered by a 275-hp 3.6L V6 engine mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. Standard amenities on this eight-passenger utility include a voice-activated navigation system, OnStar Directions and Connections (first year), dual exhaust with chrome tips, rear spoiler, 18-inch wheels, and AM/FM stereo with CD and MP3 player. Smart Slide technology is utilized on second-row seating, allowing easy access to the third row. Several safety features are equipped standard on the Acadia, such as a StabiliTrak stability control system, four-wheel disc brakes with ABS, and a six airbag restraint system.
