The Porsche 911 returns for 2006 with minor changes. The four-wheel-drive Carrera 4 and 4S make their return to the 911 model lineup. The 911 Carrera is offered in several trims: base, S, 4, and 4S in coupe or cabriolet bodystyles. Standard equipment on most trims includes automatic climate control, a trip computer, a premium sound system, an alarm system, and dual front and side impact air bags. New options include two-tone interiors, an electronic logbook, extended navigation module, 19-inch Carrera Sport wheels, and a tire pressure monitoring system. The S trims are available with a new power kit that includes modifications to the engine and exhaust to produce 381 horsepower. Porsche's ceramic composite brakes are also available.
