For 2006, the Viper receives a partner in the form of an SRT10 Coupe. The Viper is now available in two models: SRT10 in coupe or convertible configurations. Both models are equipped with an 8.3L V-10 engine producing 500 horsepower and 525 lb.-ft. of torque. The Engine is mated to a six-speed manual transmission. To help stop all this power is a set of Brembo brake calipers with 14-inch rotors. A special Blue Mamba edition with a special interior that includes black leather upholstery with contrasting stitching and shift knob accents will be available later in the year. The Coupe will be introduced in a Viper Blue exterior color with Stone White racing stripes. There are now two options in wheels: a five spoke wheel and an H-spoke wheel both made from forged aluminum.
