For 2006, the Pontiac Montana SV6 is available in two configurations, 2WD and AWD. Both Montana models feature a standard DVD Entertainment Package, cruise control, programmable power door locks with power sliding doors, keyless entry, and the OnStar On-Year Safety and Security plan. The AWD with Premium Package comes with power passenger seat adjuster, leather surfaced seat trim, dual heated front seats and, a center row utility tray. Taking it's styling cues from the SUV segment, the Montana SV6 replaced the previous generation Montana in 2005. Front and rear side impact airbags are available as an option on both models.
