The Caravan returns for 2006 with little change. It remains available in three trims: Cargo, SE and SXT. The SE model features a 2.4L 4-cylinder engine that generates 150 horsepower and 165 lb-ft of torque, while the Cargo and SXT receives the 180 horsepower 3.3L V-6 engine. Both engines are mated to a four-speed automatic transmission. The Caravan features a Stow n' Go seating system. The second and third rows of seats can be easily stowed away in a compartment in the floor leaving more cargo area for larger items. Standard features on the SE include driver's side knee air bag, cargo net, and CD player. The SXT upgrades the SE with dual-zone air conditioning, power door locks and windows, power heated exterior mirrors, and remote keyless entry.
