The Titan enters 2005 with only minor changes. The Titan is available in three model trims: XE, SE and LE in 2WD or 4WD, King Cab or Crew Cab configurations. An Endurance 5.6L DOHC V8 generating 305-hp and 379 lb-ft of torque is standard equipment on all models. New features on the King Cabs include front seat active head restraints and dampened tailgate assist, which aids in the opening and closing of the tailgate. The Crew Cabs are updated with power rear privacy glass windows. The 4WD models are fitted with a Dana front axle, active brake limited-slip, oil pan skid plate and tow hooks. Also available on the 4WD models is an Off-Road Package that includes Rancho shock absorbers, 3.36 axle ratio, and locking differential.
