Pontiac introduces a spin-off to the Montana minivan in the 2005 Montana SV6. Aimed at a sport-van look, the SV6 boasts SUV-like features such as larger wheels, a raised roof, a wider stance, and an available AWD configuration. Pontiac powers the SV6 with a new 3.5L V6 that boasts 200 horsepower and 220 ft-lbs of torque. Other standard features include ABS brakes, seven-passenger seating, the OnStar communication system, and a stereo with CD and MP3 player. Several options can be added on the SV6, including a rear entertainment system, a six-disc CD changer, XM satellite radio, StabiliTrak traction control, and first-row side impact air bags. Dual power-sliding doors are also available at an extra cost.
