The SC 430 enters 2005 with a few revisions. The Lexus sports convertible is powered by the 4.3L V8, which boasts 300 horsepower and a zero-60 time of 5.9 seconds. SC transmission choices include a five-speed automatic or a Continuously Variable Valve Timing with Intelligence (VVT-I), which helps optimize engine speed. Enhancements of the year include new shock absorbers and standard all-season run-flat tires. Also, the DVD navigation system has been upgrades with improved software and the addition of the voice-command feature, which allows hands-free capability. Options on the SC 430 include a rear spoiler and summer run-flat tires.
