Returning for 2005 is the Toyota Prius sedan. The Prius features an innovative Integrated Electric Engine or commonly known as a Hybrid engine. The 1.5L Inline 76hp engine gets 60/51 mpg according to the EPA. The Smart Keyless Entry system automatically unlocks the doors when you near the vehicle. Several other options being offered include a Homelink garage door opener, fog lights, high-intensity discharge headlights, a nine-speaker JBL premium sound system, and a rear intermittent windshield wiper. Some available post-production options for this year include an auto day/night mirror and rear bumper appliques. Option packages can be selected with equipment such as a GPS system, side impact airbags, a security alarm, skid traction control, and a six-disc CD changer.
