The 2005 Dakota Club Cab is available in six models: ST, SLT, and Laramie in two-wheel drive or four-wheel drive configurations. All models come equipped with a 3.7L V6 engine that produces 210 horsepower and 235 lbs/ft of torque. The Dakota's also get updated in the transmission category by offering a new six-speed manual transmission as a standard feature on the ST and SLT while the Laramie comes equipped with a four-speed automatic transmission. Other standard equipment on the SLT includes remote keyless entry, speed control, fog lights, and cast aluminum wheels. The Laramie increases the SLT's list of standard features by adding an Infinity sound system with 6-disc CD changer and leather split bench seats with 6-way power driver's seat adjuster.
