For 2004, the Montero Sport returns with several changes. The model line-up now includes the LS and XLS in 2WD and 4WD. ES and Limited models have been discontinued for 2004. Also new, LS models are now powered by the larger 3.5L engine and can be ordered in two new exterior colors, Viking White and Soprano Silver. The LS can be optionally equipped with the new Convenience package featuring upgrades such as a keyless remote entry system, privacy glass, cruise control, and color-keyed side steps and moldings. XLS models can be ordered with the Touring package, which includes a power sunroof, a 210-watt Mitsubishi/Infinity Premium sound system, a Platinum-finish interior, and a limited-slip rear differential.
