The Accord Sedan returns for 2004 with minimal changes. There are only three trims available on the Accord sedan: DX and LX and EX in four-cylinder or V6 engine configurations. The 2.4L i-VTEC four-cylinder engine produces 160 hp and 161 lbs.-ft of torque while the 3.0L VTEC V6 is capable of producing 240 hp and 212 lbs.-ft of torque. Both engines are available in a low emissions output format (PZEV and ULEV) in California and some parts of the Northeast. All Accords are available with manual or automatic transmission, with or without side air bags or side curtain air bags and in cloth or leather interior depending on the trim and engine combination you choose. A navigation system is available on the EX models with leather interior.
