The 2004 Grand Vitara returns with no major changes this year. The Grand Vitara is available in LX and EX 2WD and 4WD models. The Grand Vitara is equipped with a standard 2.5L V6 engine paired to either a 5-speed manual transmissions or an automatic transmission with a power mode selector switch. The Grand Vitara 4WD features shift-on-the fly transfer case. Heated outside mirrors is available on 4WD models only. A 16-inch aluminum wheel is optional on the LX models and standard on the EX. The standard in-dash CD player includes a subwoofer. Standard amenities include automatic climate control, keyless remote entry, power windows, door locks and mirror, and cruise control. For safety, daytime running lights are standard.
