Hyundai's small SUV returns for 2004 as a carryover model. The Santa Fe 4WD is available in three V-6 models, GLS, GLS 3.5L V6, and LX. The 3.5L V6 produces 195 horsepower and 219 lb-ft of torque. New for 2004, the 3.5L engine is paired with a five-speed automatic transmission. For added safety, the GLS 3.5L V6 and LX models feature a standard four wheel ABS braking system with traction control. A Monsoon stereo with a six-disc CD changer is available on GLS models and standard on the LX along with heated front seats and a Homelink Universal transmitter. A power glass sunroof is available on all models. Woodgrain trim, a cargo tray, and running boards are available as a port-installed options.
