The Subaru Outback+s enter the 2004 model year with little change. The All Weather Package, which includes heated outside mirrors, heated seats and windshield wiper de-icer, is standard on all models. Other standard features on all models include front seat side-impact airbags and leather trim seating. Automatic climate control and an eight-way power driver seat are standard on H6-3.0 and H6-3.0 VDC. For added traction, a limited slip differential is standard on Limited and H6-3.0 models. The On-Star Communication System is only available on the H6-3.0 and H6-3.0 VDC models. The H6-3.0 VDC features the McIntosh stereo system with seven speakers and a power amplifier. A long list of port installed options can be ordered with Outbacks.
