The 2004 Cooper and Cooper S returns with no major changes. The Cooper features an inline four-cylinder 1.6L 16-valve 115-hp engine, while the Cooper S gets an upgraded version with a supercharger producing 163 horsepower. The Cooper is outfitted with a standard five-speed manual transmission or an available Continuously Variable Automatic Transmission (CVT) with a six-speed Steptronic mode. Cooper S models are equipped with a six-speed manual transmission. Multiple interior and exterior color combinations are available including contrasting roof and mirror colors. In addition to the stand-alone options, the Premium, Sport, and Cold Weather Packages offer the popular option choices. Exterior color Silk Green is no longer offered.
