The 2004 GMC Envoy XL is available in four models: SLE or SLT in either 2WD or 4WD. No major changes have been made, however the option list has been expanded. New options for this year include the XM satellite feature with an upgraded stereo, a DVD-based Navigation System, and power adjustable pedals. Other available options include a rear seat DVD entertainment system, running boards, a power sunroof, and side impact air bags. The DVD entertainment system now has the ability to play a CD that you can hear both through the audio system and the wireless headphones. Additionally, the SLT model has a newly designed steering wheel, while the SLE model has new vinyl door trim. Two new exterior colors are also made available for 2004, Sand Beige and Liquid Silver.
