The 2004 Ford Thunderbird is available in three models: Deluxe, Premium, and Limited Edition Pacific Coast Roadster. The Deluxe and Premium models have the option to add a removable hard top. The vehicle comes equiped with a 3.9L V-8 280-hp engine with torque to 286 foot-pounds is coupled with a standard five-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. It also has the option of installing a Select Shift transmission. Optional feature at no extra cost for all models includes supplemental parking lamps. Heated driver and passenger seats are exclusively optional on the Premium model. New for 2004, 17 inch painted cast aluminum and styled chrome wheels and chrome chevron with V8 Badg on front fenders.
