The 2003 Impala remains unchanged except for the addition of new features. The remote keyless entry is now standard on the Base Model. The overhead storage console has been deleted this year. The Satellite XM digital sound system is available on both models. The Driver side-impact air bag is now an option. The new (PDG) Mirror Group includes electrochromic inside rearview mirror and power heated outside mirrors. The 1SB Equipment Group for the Base model now includes the Premium sound system with auxiliary amplifier. The all-new 16-inch 5-spoke Aluminum wheels replace the 16-inch Custom Aluminum wheels on the LS. The 1SC Equipment Group is added to the LS. New exterior colors include Superior Blue, Berry Red, Victory Red and Cappuccino Frost.
