The 2003 Escape is a carryover from the 2002 model year. The new Limited series is available in either a 2WD or 4WD system. Primary changes are reflected in options as well as a change in exterior color availability. The interior gets a new center finish panel appearance, as well as new two-tone color scheme. Functional changes include illumination added to front window switches and lock switches. The XLT also offers a new optional two-tone Appearance Package. The Limited trim adds heated side view mirrors, a reverse sensing system, heated leather seats, an electrochromatic mirror, dual illuminated vanity mirrors, and MACH Audio system. New exterior colors include Red Fire, Aspen Green, and Gold Ash.
