Targeted at young active buyers, the Element was designed to serve as a dorm room/base camp type vehicle, featuring center opening swing-wide doors with no B-pillars. The Element was designed for transporting either four passengers and their gear, or just the driver and extra cargo. Equipped standard is an AM/FM stereo with a six-disc CD player and outlets for a MP3 player. The Element is equipped with a 2.4L engine producing 160-hp and will be available in either two-wheel or four-wheel drive configurations.
