The Frontier 2WD Crew Cab returns with few changes to the interior and exterior. There are four trim levels available: XE-V6, SVE (Super charged Value Edition), SE-V6, and S/C-V6. The XE-V6 and SE-V6 feature a 180-HP V6 engine, while the super charged version included with the SVE and S/C-V6 boasts 210-HP and 246 lb.-ft. of torque. A four-speed automatic transmission is standard on all models except the XE-V6, which is equipped with a five-speed manual transmission. Air conditioning, four-wheel anti-lock brakes, a LATCH system, and Electronic Brake force Distribution are standard on all models. Optional equipment includes a tire pressure monitoring system and leather seating surfaces. Specifications reflect the 2002 model year.
