The all-new 2003 4Runner marks the start of the fourth generation of Toyota+s popular sport utility vehicle. Available models include the SR5, Sport, and Limited editions. All three models are available with a 245-hp V6 or 235-hp V8 engine. Major improvements include a larger and roomier vehicle, numerous on and off-road engineering enhancements, and the introduction of the V8 engine. Hill Assist Control and Downhill Assist Control make negotiating inclines and declines much easier and safer. Advanced safety features include ABS with Brake Assist, Electronic Brakeforce Distribution, Vehicle Skid Control with TRAC traction control, dual-stage front airbags, and available curtain and side air bags.
