The 2003 Jetta TDi sedans and wagons are carried over from the previous year with minor changes. The Jetta TDi sedans and wagons are available in GL and GLS models. For 2003, outside heated power mirrors and power windows with express up/down with pinch protection are now standard on all models. The TDi engine is a turbocharged diesel 1.9L 90-hp four-cylinder engine. A five-speed manual transmission is standard, while a four-speed automatic transmission is optional. Safety features include driver and passenger front and side airbags, side curtain head protection, LATCH child safety seat anchors, and daytime running lights. A Monsoon Sound System and Electronic Stabilization Program are available for all models.
