The 2003 RX 300 remains available in two versions full-time four-wheel drive and front-wheel drive. For 2003, the RX 300 adds a standard one-touch power moonroof. The Towing Package is now standard on four-wheel drive. The transmission on the four-wheel drive model adds integrated transfer case and a viscous limited-slip differential. The RX 300 is equipped with standard safety features such as anti-lock brake system, Vehicle Skid Control (VSC) and the Brake Assist system. The VSC system keeps the vehicle on course by detecting wheel slide. The optional electrochromic auto-dimming inside and outside rearview mirrors reduce glare from following vehicles. The standard projector beam fog lights enhance visibility.
