The 2003 Astro Cargo Van remains essentially the same as the previous model year. Improvements over the 2002 models include increased safety features and 4-wheel disc brakes with ABS with larger 16-inch aluminum wheels and tires. Braking power is increased via HydroBoost hydraulic power. One base equipment group is available with various options. These options include a locking differential, two convenience packages including power door locks and windows, a cold climate package and glass tinting options. The 190-hp Vortec 4300 V6 engine and four-speed automatic transmission are carried over from the 2002 model year. Upfitter options for commercial applications are available through the appropriate dealers.
