The 2003 Monte Carlo is available in two models, LS and SS. New features for the 2003 Monte Carlo include 16-inch five-spoke aluminum wheels on the LS Sport Appearance Package and SS models. Traction Control, remote keyless entry and 4-wheel disc brakes are now standard on LS models, but the tire inflation monitor is no longer available. In addition, the Monte Carlo now offers a XM Satellite Radio. The XM radio features 100-coast-to-coast digital channels. New exterior colors include Superior Blue, Berry Red Metallic, Victory Red, Cappuccino Frost Metallic. Optional equipment includes a vehicle information center, OnStar communications system, a power sunroof, leather seats, and an AM/FM stereo with cassette and CD player.
