The 2002 911 Carrera is available in six models: Base Coupe, Targa, Cabriolet, Coupe 4S AWD, Cabriolet 4 AWD, and the Turbo. The 2002 Coupe, Targa, and both Cabriolets increased the power of their 3.6L six-cylinder engine to 320 horsepower. The Turbo is powered by a 415-hp 3.6L six-cylinder engine. All models utilize a six-speed manual transmission or an optional Tiptronic five-speed transmission, featuring fully automatic or manual operation. Options on the Base Coupe, Targa, and Cabriolets include 18-inch alloy wheels, sport chassis, and Porsche Stability Management System, which are all standard on the 4S and Turbo. The 911 Carreras feature numerous interior and exterior trim options, allowing any model to be custom-built.
