The Odyssey returns for 2002 with many key changes. An all-new five-speed automatic transmission, with a final drive ratio of 4.2, replaces the four-speed. Also, the VTEC 3.5L V6 engine has an increased horsepower of 240. Available in LX and EX trims, this minivan is now equipped standard with rear disc brakes, side impact air bags, and amber-colored rear turn signals. The exterior receives a new grille and restyled wheels, while the interior adds coat hooks and larger cupholders. New for this year, Honda offers a rear entertainment DVD system, as well as heated leather seats (EX model only). Three new exterior colors are also made available: Redrock, Evergreen, and Havasu. Enhanced suspension tuning rounds off this years revisions.
