The Frontier Crew Cab continues into the new model year with several changes. Most notable of these is a new optional long bed. The Frontier is the first in its class to offer this feature, greatly boosting cargo capacity. Other changes include revised option packages and color choices. A redesigned gauge cluster debuts, as does a revised center console, larger glove box and new HVAC controls. SE models now feature a standard automatic transmission, brushed aluminum-look interior trim, exterior temperature gauge, and compass. SC models upgrade this interior treatment with special red stitching on the seats and leather-wrapped steering wheel. A new 300-watt Rockford Fosgate audio system is introduced, and features a 6-CD changer and subwoofer.
