The Frontier 2WD continues this year with revised model availability and package features. Last year+s single remaining regular cab model has been dropped for 2002. All Frontiers are now King Cabs or Crew Cabs. Replacing the regular cab model is a new base model King Cab. This value-priced model deletes the XE+s rear jump seats, tweeter speakers, rear bumper, and door cloth inserts. Options are also limited compared to other models. Options for the XE, SE, and SC have been revised with most major features grouped into new packages. Interior revisions include newly styled gauges, HVAC controls, and a new center console. Four-wheel anti-lock brakes are standard on V6 models, and not available on four-cylinder Frontiers.
