The Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Extended Cab is available in six models: Base, LS, and LT in either 2WD or 4WD configurations. Air conditioning is standard on all trim levels for this model year. Options include a Skid Plate Package, traction control, a Heavy Duty Suspension Package, and an Electrical Convenience Package. The Electrical Convenience Package provides a self-dimming rearview mirror with an eight-point compass, an outside temperature display, and fog lamps. LT models receive an AM/FM stereo with cassette and CD player, a full-feature overhead console, power bucket seats appointed in custom leather, and OnStar. Safety features include daytime running lights, anti-lock disc brakes, and driver and passenger airbags.
