The Cavalier Sedan continues this year with various equipment and color revisions. Two new models debut, the Z24 Sedan (discountinued mid-year) and the LS Sport Sedan (late availability). The three-speed automatic transmission has been discontinued in favor of an electronically controlled four-speed unit with traction control. The available Natural Gas Bi-Fuel System features the ability to operate on either gasoline or compressed natural gas. All models include a standard four-wheel anti-lock braking system, air conditioning, and electric rear window defogger. In addition, floormats are now standard on all models, as is a tilt steering wheel and stereo system with a CD player. New colors include Alpine Green, Forest Green, and Mayan Gold.
