The Jaguar XK8 and XKR return for the new model year with detail refinements and a new option package. Designed to be a limited production run of 250 units, the XKR Silverstone is a new option package set to enhance the XKR models. Major features of the Silverstone package include 20-inch Detroit style alloy wheels by BBS, a high-performance Brembo anti-lock braking system, and an enhanced power steering system. The coupe model also features a specially tuned CATS suspension system. Exclusive Platinum Silver paint and special interior appointments round out the package. New standard features this year include side-impact airbags, the 320-watt Alpine Audiophile stereo system, and a Navigation System on XKR models.
