The Grand Vitara is available in four models: JLS 2WD, JLX 4WD, and Limited models in both 2WD and 4WD. All models come with a 2.5L six-cylinder engine rated at 155 horsepower. The JLS and JLX are available with either a manual or an automatic transmission, while the Limited models are only available with the four-speed automatic. All Grand Vitaras are equipped with dual airbags, child safety seat anchors, cruise control, and a Clarion CD player. The optional Plus Package, available on both models, adds four-wheel anti-lock brakes, 16-inch aluminum alloy wheels, deep tinted glass and an upgraded stereo. The Limited models include all of these features as standard equipment, plus leather seats and a power sunroof.
