The Frontier Crew Cab arrives for the 2001 model year with a restyled appearance and a new Super Charger model. All Frontiers receive a completely redesigned front end with a more distinctly aggressive appearance. Redesigned fender flares are also new, as is a restyled tailgate with lock. The restyled appearance continues into the cab, which features new climate controls, a new gauge design, and upgraded stereo systems. A new steering wheel with audio controls and an in-dash 6-disc CD changer are optional. The new supercharged model produces 210 horsepower and features several functional and styling changes. A sport-tuned suspension and 17-inch wheels improve handling, and a unique interior color scheme and options enhance the driving environment.
