The 2001 Park Avenue is available in two models: Base and Ultra. Both models continue essentially unchanged for the 2001 model year. The Red interior has been replaced with a new Shale color, and new exterior colors of Dark Chestnut, Dark Polo Green, White, and White Diamond are now offered. Also new is the optional Ultrasonic Rear Park Assist, which assists drivers when parallel parking. Additional changes for this year include the new optional Special Appearance Package for the Ultra that includes a Laguna Green exterior, two-tone Shale/Neutral interior and Southern Walnut wood door inserts and instrument panel. The General Motors StabiliTrak and OnStar driver assistance and navigation system are now standard on the Park Avenue Ultra.
