In addition, a trunk entrapment emergency release mechanism that unlatches the trunk was added to all models. New side blinker lights are incorporated on the exterior. The advanced 1.9L TDI diesel engine remains standard, and offers 42 mpg city and 49 mpg hwy with the five-speed, and 34 mpg city and 45 mpg hwy with the automatic.
