This year, Ford has dropped the Lariat trim from the F-250 Regular Cab. Also, four-wheel ABS brakes, child seat anchors, and the Trailer Tow Package have been added as standard features. The Trailer Tow Package includes a front stabilizer bar, seven-wire harness, and heavy-duty alternator. The XLT model now includes a premium AM/FM stereo with cassette and CD player, chrome steel wheels, fog lamps (on the XLT 4WD model only), power mirrors, and color-keyed bodyside moldings. There are three new colors available: Dark Highland Green, Toreador Red, and True Blue. New optional features for the XLT model are chrome tubular side steps, a reverse vehicle aid sensor, and a premium AM/FM stereo with six-disc in-dash CD changer.
