The 2000 Grand Vitara is now available in four models: JLS 2WD and JLX 4WD, and the new Limited 2WD and 4WD. Standard features on all models include split folding rear seats, keyless entry system, 16-inch wheels, and power mirrors, windows and door locks. The optional Plus Package adds a CD changer, 4-wheel anti-lock brakes and alloy wheels to the standard equipment list. All 4WD models include shift-on-the-fly 4WD with vacuum operated front hubs. The new Limited models are available in white or black monotone paint and include an automatic transmission, leather seating, 5-spoke alloy wheels, fog lamps, and deep tinted windows. Additional Limited model equipment includes gold body emblems, front armrest, and a hard-case spare tire cover.
