The Civic two-door is available in six models - CX and DX hatchback, DX, HX, EX and Si coupe. The hatchback, powered by the 1.6 L 106-hp engine, was the first vehicle to achieve California+s Low Emission Vehicle (LEV) certification. Standard features equipped on all models include tilt steering, a folding rear seat and color-keyed impact-absorbing bumpers. Standard safety features include dual front airbags, child-seat tether anchors and a rear defroster. The EX upgrades the lower models by adding air conditioning, a CD player and cruise control. The Si coupe, Honda+s top of the line model, features 15-inch alloy wheels, chrome exhaust tips, four-wheel disc brakes and a leather wrapped steering wheel and shift knob.
