The Ranger Supercab is available in four models - XL and XLT in 2WD and 4WD. New for 2000, the Class III frame-mounted towing hitch receiver is available on XL models equipped with a V6 engine. All XL models are also now available with a four-door option. Other new options include a step bar, 15-inch chrome styled steel wheels, P225/70Rx15SL OWL tires and cloth bucket seats for the 2WD XLT. New standard features include an AM/FM stereo with CD player on the XLT, fog lamps on the 4WD XLT and 15-inch argent wheels on the 2WD XL. One standard feature on the 4WD models, which is optional on the 2WD, is the 3.0L V6 engine; It comes with a flexible fuel system that can burn 100 percent unleaded gasoline, ethanol or any combination of the two.
