The Ranger Regular Cab is available in four models - XL and XLT in 2WD and 4WD. The new Trailhead Package, which is only available on the 2WD XL, gives the Ranger a 4WD appearance. It includes styled manual mirrors, a tachometer, front tow hooks, torsion bar suspension, 16-inch cast aluminum wheels and P245/75R16 all-terrain tires. The 4WD XLT Off-Road Package now includes a stainless steel front suspension skid plate. Other options available on the Ranger are a limited slip axle, an upgraded payload package, a Flareside truck bed and a 3.0L V6 engine. The V6 engine uses a flexible fuel system that can burn 100 percent unleaded gasoline, ethanol or any combination of the two. Lastly, Ford has added an exterior color, Mandarin Gold.
