The F150 regular cab pickup is available in six models: Work Series, XL, and XLT Styleside; and XL, XLT, and the new SVT Lightning Flareside. The SVT Lightning includes such features as a 360 horsepower supercharged 5.4 liter V8 engine, heavy-duty transmission, 4-wheel disc brakes, SVT steering and suspension, and a lower ride height. Additional revisions for this year include newly available 17-inch chrome wheels, a new overhead console, and visor vanity mirrors are now available on XL models. Also new is the optional 7700 Payload Group which replaces the discontinued F250 light duty model of last year. This group includes a heavier frame, larger brakes, higher capacity wheels and an 8,800 lbs. towing capacity.
