Marking fifteen consecutive years of styling, the 2000 Caravan is available in two short wheelbase versions: the Base, and SE/Sport. Standard features include an AM/FM stereo with cassette, air conditioning, intermittent wipers and washer with speed sensitive delay, power outlets and driver and front passenger airbags. The Caravan offers enhanced packages such as the Climate Group II, Loading Group, Sport Group and five different selections of the Convenience Groups (I, II, III, IV, V). Convenience Group I offers power mirrors and a tilt steering column. Convenience Group II adds power door locks to the list of Convenience Group I features. Upgraded models use a 3.3L 158-hp engine, which has more horsepower than the Base 2.4L 150-hp engine.
