The Avenger sport coupe is available in two trim levels: Base and ES. The 2.5-liter V-6 engine and 4-speed automatic transmission are now offered as standard features. The TLEV (Transitional Low Emission Vehicle), available only in CA, NY, MA, VT and NE Trading Region states, reduced the engine horsepower from 163 to 156. The Avenger ES upgrades the Base with fog lights, universal garage door opener, keyless entry, leather seats and security alarm. In addition, the Avenger ES comes standard with 17-inch cast aluminum wheels and performance tires. Four-wheel ABS brakes are offered on ES model only. Keyless entry and AM/FM Cassette with CD are optional on the Base. The Infinity Audio System is available on the ES.
