The New Jetta is available in six models and offered in three different engines for this year. Standard equipment on all models includes an AM/FM stereo with cassette, a CD prep pack, child safety locks and a keyless entry remote system. The GLS models upgrade the base GL by adding heated side mirrors, a sound system upgrade, power windows, cruise control and additional storage pockets. The GLX VR6 is uniquely equipped with many luxury amenities including front fog lights, a multi-function trip computer, automatic climate control and leather seating surfaces. The Luxury Package is an available option on GLS models and includes both a power sunroof and alloy wheels. An optional automatic transmission is available on all models.
