The 1999 Pontiac Bonneville is offered in two trim levels: SE and SSE. New for 1999, Pontiac offers the OnStar Communication System that integrates advance vehicle electronics with Global Positioning System (GPS) and a hands-free phone to provide roadside assistance, travel route support and Emergency services. The EyeCue Head-up Display (HUD) is now standard on the SSE and optional on the SE. Two new exterior colors were added in 1999: Galaxy silver Metallic and Dark Bronzemist Metallic. Both models are equipped with an electronic load leveling system to keep the vehicle at the correct height. The SSE is available with the optional SSEi Package that includes the powerful 240-hp supercharged engine for those who want more performance.
